This patient had an accident which broke the right front tooth and fractured the left which had to be removed. An immediate dental implant was placed. The white part is a “custom abutment” that was custom made to mimic the size and shape of her natural tooth. It is Zirconium which is white as opposed to using metal. This helps us to achieve excellent esthetics. You can see by looking how we worked to preserve the natural gum contours around the tooth so that the implant crown will look natural. All ceramic crowns were custom shaded to blend in with the adjacent natural teeth.
