Houston TMJ Dentist, Ronald W. Konig DDS, FAGD, LVIF explains that many times migraines and headaches are associated with the bite or the way the teeth fit together. Patients have often been to neurologists, ENT’s, opthamologists, and had MRIs and CAT scans. Whereas it is important to rule out medical problems, TMJ goes largely undiagnosed and patients suffer for years.  Many are on medications and their quality of life is reduced.  A colleague of mine produced a video in which he interviewed one of his migraine headache patients who was treated with physiologic (neuromuscular dentistry) dentistry:

This is very common and we see these cases all the time in our office. Â I hope this video helps to increase patients and physicians awareness of another cause of migraine headaches. Â If you have questions about Houston TMJ, please feel free to contact our office, 713-668-2289
