We often see patients who come in search of cosmetic dental care who have worn and broken teeth. Cosmetic Dentistry is wonderful and exciting. There are times, however, when an assessment as to why the teeth were worn and broken should be taken into consideration prior to completing Houston Cosmetic Dentistry. Why would you restore broken and worn teeth to the same bite and place that caused this to occur in the first place? Very often, these patients have bite problems or TMJ problems that are causing the teeth to break and wear. Simply restoring these teeth to the same bite may cause the dental care to break and wear as well. Bite problems or TMJ problems may be symptomatic or asymptomatic. This is why a comprehensive exam and evaluation is indicated for all dental care.
